Booking Policy

Booking Terms & Conditions
 

Deposit & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee is required at the time of booking to secure the event date

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 calendar days prior to the event date

  • Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking at the discretion of KG Music

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit only

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will result in the full fee being payable

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing

Event Changes

  • Requests for changes to the date, time, or venue must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the event

  • Approval of changes is subject to availability and may incur additional fees

Performance & Equipment

  • Musicians will arrive 30–45 minutes prior to the performance for setup

  • Piano shell and/or keyboard hire will be supplied in accordance with the package booked

  • The client must ensure:

    • Adequate space and safe access for equipment setup

    • A reliable power supply for the keyboard and professional audio equipment

    • Suitable cover or protection for outdoor events

       

​Force Majeure

  • In the unlikely event of illness, injury, extreme weather, venue closure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control,
    KG Music reserves the right to provide a suitable replacement musician or reschedule where possible

  • Liability is limited to the total fee paid.


Overtime

  • Performances that extend beyond the booked time may incur an additional hourly fee, subject to the pianist’s availability

Liability

  • KG MUSIC maintains public liability insurance coverage up to $20 million, available upon request

  • KG MUSIC is not liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control,
    including but not limited to illness, extreme weather, venue restrictions, government directives, or other force majeure events.
